Wednesday 6th March

We are still waiting for our phone call from the Department.  When they call they will give us our child's details i.e. sex, age, medical record, health etc.  We should hear something in the next few days and am hopeful that it will happen before the weekend to put us out of our misery. The files of our children have arrived and are sitting on somebody's desk in the Department of Child Safety and wish they would get their act together and phone us.  When they arrive they have to  be examined by a medical panel first and then our Social Worker calls us and comes to see us to discuss his/her information.    All along we expected a girl but don't really know now because so many boys have been allocated lately which is very strange for China. I will have to throw out all the pink outfits I guess if we get a boy.  Tomorrow is Thursday and I am meeting a friend for a coffee at 10am which will be nice.  Keep everything crossed that the phone call will come soon.  Come on China!
